Description

The Hydrapak Blaster Valve is Hydrapak’s best ever Bite valve, with the highest-flow valve on the market. The Blaster bite valve has a high-grade compression molded silicone sheath with an easy to use “Twist on/shut-off valve” to stop accidental leaks during transport, plus it comes apart easily for cleaning. It fits all Hydrapak and competitor brand hydration packs that use a 1/4 inch inside diameter tube. The Hydrapak Blaster Bite Valve even comes with a dust cover to protect you from grittier elements, it’s leak-proof, self-sealing and easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Hydrapak produced two hose diameters:
• 5/16th inch diameter and was standard on 2011 and earlier Hydrapak models.
• 1/4 inch diameter is compatible with 2012 to present Hydrapak models. This is an industry standard and makes Hydrapak systems compatible with most other brands and many in-line water purification filters.

Hydrapak Valve Identification:

Be sure to properly identify the hose diameter of your system. Hoses are measured by their inside diameter. For Surge Valve replacement, the easiest way to verify the hose diameter of your system is to remove the valve from the hose. Simply Grasp the valve near the base and pull it firmly from the tube. Once removed, you can verify the diameter from the image Valve ID image
