Aonijie Spark Carbon Running Poles

Regular price $299.95
Colour: Orange

Built for runners who count every gram, the Aonijie Spark (also Known as Summit Ultra) is an exceptionally lightweight carbon-fibre pole designed for trail racing, ultramarathons and fast mountain adventures.

Weighing approximately 89–101 g per pole, depending on length, the Spark minimises the weight runners repeatedly lift and swing during long climbs.

A distinctive fluorescent glow-in-the-dark finish absorbs light and produces a visible glow in low-light and nighttime conditions. This helps the poles stand out during overnight ultras and early-morning or evening adventures.

EVA handles, polyester and Hypalon wrist straps, and durable tungsten-cobalt alloy tips complete Aonijie’s premium weight-focused racing pole.

Sold as a pair.

Why you'll Love it

The Spark is the weight-focused premium option in Aonijie’s trail-running pole range. It is particularly suited to competitive trail runners, ultrarunners and experienced athletes who want to minimise carried and swing weight over long distances.

Its fixed-length construction avoids the additional components and weight associated with adjustable poles. Once assembled, the connected sections create a light and responsive pole that is easy to position during sustained climbing.

The ergonomic EVA handles provide a secure, comfortable grip, while the polyester-fibre and Hypalon wrist straps help transfer force through the wrist and hand. Tungsten-cobalt alloy tips provide dependable contact on dirt, gravel and rocky trails.

Glow-in-the-dark finish

The Spark's fluorescent finish absorbs light and then glows when conditions become dark. This makes the poles more visible and easier to locate during overnight events, transitions and low-light trail adventures.

The strength and duration of the glow will depend on how much light the finish has absorbed. The glow is a supplementary visibility feature—it does not replace reflective equipment, a headlamp or other required nighttime safety gear.

Personal preference, arm length, terrain and intended use can affect the ideal size. Some runners prefer a slightly shorter pole for steep climbing, while others prefer additional length for mixed terrain and descending support.

Carbon poles are exceptionally light and efficient but should be protected from strong sideways impacts or becoming trapped between rocks. Aluminium poles may be a better choice for beginners who prioritise impact tolerance over minimum weight.
